Last year we raised money towards class laptops and ipads. We also provided new playground equipment, gave money towards class trips and a fund for each class to purchase items they particularly needed.
We also help to run the very successful Cross Country running club by cooking breakfast every Monday morning for the runners.
We also organise fun, social events for the children, parents and community and are responsible for catering at other school events such as the infant nativity, junior carol concert, the fun run, the summer production and Sports Day.
If you are interested in joining the WSA Committee or if you could help at events, we would be very pleased if you could contact the school office who can put you in touch with one of us.
Happy 2019 from the WSA.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all the parents, staff and children for making 2018 an amazing year. We have managed to raise a lot of money which we have been able to spend on the children, helping pay for school trips, equipment and a lot more. The children were amazing in the nativity and carol service at Christmas and the Christmas fair was a huge success as always.
2019 will be an extra special year as we will be celebrating our 50th birthday. We have lots of things coming up so please look out for letters in your bags.
The WSA have been able to provide a new C Touch white board which is touch screen activated which is proving a hit with the children of class one. A big thank you to all that support the WSA as the cost of this was £2514.00.
Mrs Roycroft and the WSA would like to say a massive thankyou to Danielle , Denise, Nikki, Stacey and Simon for arranging a spooky disco for the local children.
They have donated £242.50 to the school which im sure the children will enjoy spending.
Its that time of year when we are asking for donations of jam jars filled with wrapped sweets or small toys, wrapped bars of chocolates, bottles of any kind from shampoo to wine or anything in between and nearly new toys (in good condition and safe).
All the above are used on our stalls which are very popular and often run out due to being the childrens favourite stalls, if you can donate please give any items to your class rep.
If you or anyone you know would like a stall the cost is £15.00 please speak to Danielle.
This is the WSA biggest fundraiser of the school year so lets make it the best one yet.
Thanks to all the parents and children that that came to our Bingo Night. We hope you all had a great evening and we hope you all got fed in the end. The Bingo Night was very sucsesful and we raised approx £500 on the evening.
