WSA

Welcome to the WSA section of the school website.

Wigginton School Association (WSA) is a registered charity.

All parents are members of the WSA and we work together to support the children by providing equipment or experiences to make their time at St. Bartholomew's a happy and fulfilling one.

We have a dedicated team of parent volunteers and we always welcome more!

The following people currently stand on a more formal committee –

Chair - Amy Robinson
Treasurer - Caroline Burrage
Secretary - Charis Lamond

Class Reps:
Reception - Giuliana Petrilli
Year 1 - Dasha Robinson
Year 2 - Libby Bonney
Year 3 - Rachael Stocks Thomas
Year 4 - Caroline Burrage

Year 5 - Anna Walters
Year 6 - Sue Hope

Last year we raised money towards class laptops and ipads.  We also provided new playground equipment, gave money towards class trips and a fund for each class to purchase items they particularly needed.

We also help to run the very successful Cross Country running club by cooking breakfast every Monday morning for the runners.

We also organise fun, social events for the children, parents and community and are responsible for catering at other school events such as the infant nativity, junior carol concert, the fun run, the summer production and Sports Day.

If you are interested in joining the WSA Committee or if you could help at events, we would be very pleased if you could contact the school office who can put you in touch with one of us.

The WSA have provided a new C Touch interactive board for the children in Class 2; this is touch screen activated and will be installed this September.

In addition, the school has had a very exciting delivery of some new, brightly coloured sports equipment that we have been able to purchase from monies raised from the Readathon.  Below is a small selection of the equipment which includes a 20ft parachute, 30 footballs, 30 skipping ropes, jumping sacks, ribbon balls and much more.
