We will be hosting Parent Tours for children due to start in Reception 2027 on the following dates:
* Dates will be confirmed in the Autumn Term of 2026.
Please check back here in early October.
If you would like to join one of the tours, please contact the school office on 01442 822364 or email attendance@stbarts.herts.sch.uk
If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.
Applications should be made via the Hertfordshire County Council on-line system. Our first priority is to offer places to children in care (looked after children) or previously looked after children. Following this, places will be offered to children whose older brothers and sisters will still be attending the school. Priority will then be given to children living within the bounds of the Parish.
Children starting in September will be admitted full time after a short settling in period. There will be flexibility for part-time attendance; we will extend the settling in period should individual children require this. This will be by arrangement with parents/carers, in consultation with the Head teachers and class teacher.
A Supplementary Information Form only needs to be completed if you are applying under the Category 3 criteria in our Admission Policy.
All parents now need to set up an appeals account in order to appeal. The online appeals portal is the same for all parents and is found here: School Admission Appeal | Hertfordshire County Council
In order to set up an account, the following codes are needed:
Transfer appeals
Hertfordshire parents can access the codes they need in order to set up an appeals account via their admissions account. They can see them on the page where they are told their allocation.
Parents who live out-of-county or who applied on paper will need to contact our Customer Service Centre on 0300 123 4043 in order to obtain their registration details to gain access. These then will be sent via automated email. (Any in-county parents having difficulty finding their codes in their admissions account can also do this if they need to.)

Parents should use the appeals online system.
