Welcome to St. Bartholomew’s Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School!

We are thrilled to welcome you to our website and share with you a glimpse of our vibrant school community. St. Bartholomew's has earned an outstanding reputation within our local community, and this is largely due to our wonderful team of staff and our motivated, eager-to-learn pupils. At our school, we focus on fostering a culture of kindness, hard work, and laughter, and we are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to grow and flourish.

As a half-form entry Church of England school for children aged 4 to 11, we take pride in offering an exciting and engaging curriculum. Our students not only achieve excellent academic progress but also benefit from a wide range of opportunities in sport, outdoor learning, and creative subjects like art and music. We were proud to be judged as Good by OFSTED in 2024, and we continue to build on this success every day.

At St. Bartholomew’s, we treat each pupil as an individual, helping them to develop their self-belief, confidence, and personal strengths. We challenge our children to be the best they can be, nurturing a love of learning and a passion for discovery. We believe that by fostering a caring and supportive environment, we can inspire every child to reach their full potential.

As Co-Headteachers, we are immensely proud of what we have achieved together with our staff and pupils, and we are delighted to share aspects of our school life and work with you through this website.

If you have any questions or would like to arrange a visit to our school, please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs. Fleetwood in the school office. If you would like a paper copy of any information found on our website, please feel free to get in touch with us.

We hope you enjoy exploring our website and learning more about the fantastic work that happens every day at St. Bartholomew's.

    Warm regards,

    Mrs. Wall and Mrs Mowbray
