Intent
At St. Bartholomew’s we aim to provide a high-quality French education, which provides a valuable educational, social and cultural experience for our children. We want to introduce a new language to children in a way that is enjoyable and fun and works to stimulate their curiosity about language and the wider world.
Learning any new language enables children to develop their communication skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. By following the National Curriculum aims for French, all children will be confident about language learning as they start secondary school.

French Games
All children in Classes 3 and 4 have been provided with login information to play games on the Language Angels website. The 'Pupil Games Area' can be accessed using this link.
